Clairemont Community Planning Group (CCPG) Meeting
The CCPG meets the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. The meetings are held at the Cadman Elementary School Auditorium, 4370 Kamloop Avenue. They may occasionally skip a meeting during the summer or in December so check their website if this is the first time you plan to attend to ensure it is business as usual.
General meetings are open to all members of the community and this is the place to be if you have an interest in (or are concerned about) new businesses in the area, development, zoning changes, etc.. For example, someone seeking a variance to build higher than the approved 30 foot height limit would likely start here. You’ll also see topics such as neighbors requesting speed bumps or a stop sign in a high traffic area or a developer wanting to build new condos or townhomes.
Board members are volunteers, not city officials, and you are encouraged to participate and run for a spot in the next round of elections if you’re interested after attending a few meetings.
There is time during every meeting for community members to speak without having to be on the official agenda. Please limit your comments to 3 minutes if you choose to speak during this time.
For additional information on a specific agenda item, or to reach this community planning group, please contact the chairperson listed on the Community Planning Group Contact List.
If you would like to receive agendas via email, send your request to firstname.lastname@example.org and indicate your specific community planning group.
